Many extraordinary and paranormal phenomena take place during the sleep and dream states. Night time and the twilight state are also especially conducive to these experiences. While some dreams may be more about psychological processing, others undoubtedly include experiences beyond this, into the realm of the spiritual and metaphysical.
This workshop will explore some of these phenomena, including: visitations from departed loved ones, telepathic, precognitive, clairvoyant and shared dreams, sleep paralysis, and empathic telepathy dreams. This talk will be presented by Seattle dream expert Mimi Pettibone. She offers workshops, groups and private consultations related to dreams, intuition, and conscious and subconscious communication.

Drawing Wisdom from Dreams:
Our dreaming mind thinks in pictures and images, translating our experiences from the past, present, and potential future into visual metaphors and sometimes literal images. This experiential workshop will provide a way to explore and gain some deeper insights into the fascinating landscape of our night time dreams and the messages they hold for us.
Bring an image from a dream that you are curious about to draw in the class. If you don’t remember a dream, you can still participate by doing a drawing to interpret (instructions will be provided), or you can just be an observer if you prefer. No background or skills in art or drawing are required as we are not looking for artistic ability, but for what our subconscious minds are communicating to us. Through various interpretive processes we will look at the drawings to uncover new layers of meaning from our dreams. You will learn valuable ways to understand dreams and the messages conveyed in their images.
Colored pens, pencils, crayons and paper will be provided, or bring your own supplies if you have your favorite.
This class will be taught by Seattle dream interpreter Mimi Pettibone. Her areas of interest and fascination include dreams, subconscious communication and intuition. She is a natural empath and her background also includes Neuro-Linguistic Programming, graphology and the symbolic language of tarot. She enjoys teaching workshops, doing private consultations and readings for events and parties.
This Saturday I will be teaching a dream workshop that is open to the public:
DATE: Saturday, June 22, 2013
TIME: 1-3pm
COST: $30 (register at the door)
LOCATION: 700 Warren Avenue North, Seattle, WA (the building is a blue house, on the corner of Roy St. and Warren Ave N)
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Dreams are a fascinating source of information that can help us better understand our selves, our lives and our relationships. There is a greater part of our minds that is working in mysterious ways while we sleep, and this can help us problem solve, form creative ideas, and even be a source of precognitive and telepathic information. Many scientific discoveries and famous works of art have been conceived of in dreams.
In this workshop you will learn:
• How to remember your dreams
• How to ask for a dream regarding a specific topic
• Tips for working with and understanding your own dreams
• Some of the most common dreams and their meanings
Bring a dream if you have one you would like to share or ask about, however no sharing or dream recall is required. Bring your questions and an open mind!
Come find out what your handwriting reveals about your personality, and how this can enhance your skills in all of your relationships. In this class you will learn:
- Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
- Do you lead with your head or your heart?
- How does your public persona compare to how you really feel inside?
- Do you prefer close connections with others, or need more time alone?
- Are you thinking about the future, or stuck in the past?
- Would you rather be: thinking, doing, or being?
- Are you more emotionally expressive, or calm, cool, and collected?
You will find out where your personality strengths are (as well as weaknesses – we could all use a little help!), and how this knowledge can enhance the quality of your relationships.
Handwriting is a form of subconscious expression, an extension of Body Language, and has been used by the FBI and Fortune 500 companies. This portion of this class will be taught by me, and I am once again teaming up with relationship expert Renessa Rios. Renessa will chime in about how our personality traits contribute to our relationship styles (specifically dating, but you can apply the information to all types of relationships). Her singles group will be there, and she will offer her expertise regarding some of the do’s and don’ts of dating communication such as texting and emailing, and when to pick up the phone.
That said, I would like to invite anyone who finds this topic of interest, as relationships take many different forms in our lives and most of the information can be applied across the board.
I hope you will join us for this exciting and ground breaking class!
~Mimi

Did you know that your dreams can help you with your relationships? Understanding your dreams can give you new insights about your relationships from a non-defensive perspective. What is stopping you from having the relationship you desire…Is it other people? Or have you built internal barriers against it? Our dreams will show us what other people are doing that may or may not be healthy for us, as well as what we are doing to get in our own way.
In addition to exploring how our dreams can help us with our relationships, this class will also cover some of the most common sensual dream themes and what they often mean! Bring your questions and a curious mind.

(Privately Hosted Social Club Event) November 28, 2012, 7pm-9pm
This experiential workshop will begin with an introductory talk about our night time dreams, answering some of the most common questions, and giving you a general overview about how dreams work.
Next we will get out the drawing supplies and select a scene from a dream to draw. It can be a favorite dream, a perplexing or intriguing one, or even a scary one. Choose something you would like to explore. If you don’t remember a dream you can draw a scene from waking life or your imagination, or just observe and participate in the rest of the workshop. You don’t need to be a great artist or have any background or skills in art or drawing! We are not looking for that. After the drawings are complete we will learn some ways of working with the images in a group format that will provide insights to not only the dreamer but to the group as a whole.
Bring your questions, and have a dream scene in mind to draw. Participants are not required to draw, feel free to come and observe, you will still learn and gain from the experience. Colored pens, pencils, crayons and paper will be provided, feel free to bring your own supplies if you have your favorite you’d like to use.

This Sunday I am thrilled to be a guest instructor as part of a 2 hour class that includes some of my all time FAVORITE topics: The Law of Attraction, Dating and Dreams!
I will be teaching a 1/2 hour segment on how our dreams can help us with our relationships as part of a dating workshop held by matchmaker Renessa Rios of Three Step Dating. She will be talking about how to apply Law of Attraction to dating, and I will address how our dreams can enhance this. Read more below!
Dreams, Dating and The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction involves the workings of the subconscious mind, and our dreams are the most honest and accurate reflection of that. Did you know that your dreams can help you with your relationships?
Understanding our night time dreams can give us new insights into our relationships from an objective perspective. What is stopping you from having the relationship you desire…Is it other people? Or have you built internal barriers against it? Our dreams show us what other people are doing that may or may not be healthy for us, as well as what we are doing to get in our own way.
Common questions will also be addressed, such as:
If I dream about my ex, should I call them?
If I dream about my ex, does it mean they are thinking of me?
Renessa will talk about ‘The Secret’ to applying the Law of Attraction to your dating life. It should be an interesting and fun class.
We hope to see you there!
