Mimi Pettibone believes that our dreams are one of the most powerful forms of inner guidance that we have, and that they can connect us with the infinite field of intelligence that surrounds us. As part of her mission to spread awareness of these concepts, she created The Dream Detective podcast, which explores the mysteries of the mind, body, spirit, and dreams.
Mimi first became fascinated with dreams as a little girl when she observed that many of her own dreams were precognitive. Throughout her life she has had many spiritual, psychic, and paranormal experiences, both in dreams and in the waking state. These have inspired her love for, and fascination with parapsychology, metaphysics, and all things supernatural, psychic and paranormal.
A natural born teacher, Mimi offers a variety of talks and workshops such as Conscious Communication, Dreams and Relationships, Dreams & the Paranormal, and Drawing from Dreams which uses principles from art therapy to explore symbolism in dream imagery. She also hosts dream groups online and via conference call that can be accessed by people over the world.
With a background in the arts, Mimi has been a dream and tarot consultant for television, film, theater, and video productions, and has brought her gifts to companies such as Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, and high end private social clubs to educate, inspire, enrich, and entertain. Mimi is a frequent media guest on radio, TV, podcasts, and conscious radio networks all over the world. She is also the creator of the bestselling inspirational card deck The Enchanted Art Oracle.
Mimi follows her dreams, intuition, and Divine guidance as her compass to navigate life, and loves helping others do the same. She is a dream worker and transpersonal coach who consults with clients all over the world. Some of her favorite topics to explore with clients are dream interpretation, finding your life purpose, relationships, communication skills, and working with Divine guidance. Mimi’s background includes a social psychology called Transactional Analysis, which helps people improve their relationships and communication skills with themselves, and with others. It also integrates a fascination of Mimi’s, known as parts therapy. Mimi first learned about parts work when participating in a dream group in college, where the different elements in a dream were explored as parts of ourselves. She has been fascinated with this concept ever since, and purposefully chose many of the modalities she studied because they incorporate parts work.
